All of the art on this page was done outdoors on location. Which means in order for an artist to
capture a moment, the painting has to be done in a rather short amount of time so as to maintain
the continuity, and keep the light, and shadows the same as when he/she begins the piece.
"Tom has done a wonderful job here in showing the beauty and crisp
colors as the Fall Season swings into full bloom here along this
dirt road. This piece would look great anywhere in your home, or office.
This piece is done in oil and this image doesn't do the original piece any justice."
Fall Along The Road
Anita's Beach House
"This is where Tom Painted the other two seaside paintings. Liking this particular spot
and finding the calm and peaceful scene also ideal for painting. Tom decided to do a view of
the house that sits on the seashore. I sit and look at this painting and can easily imagine myself standing up on the balcony leaning over and listening to the waves as they break against the cliff walls. A very cozy atmosphere.
"Painted on location here in Northern California. Tom brings you this painting of Woodlake. Woodlake is a condominium complex in San Mateo. Every Tuesday Tom meets with the Peninsula Outdoor Painters. This group will spend a day on location to see how much they can accomplish in a given amount of time. It is truly amazing to see the results of a days' work such as this one."

Web Ranch
"This is another painting Tom did while out with the Peninsula Outdoor Painters. Another job which Tom has accomplished in only a day. The painting was done at Web Ranch which is near the Portola Valley Training facilities. This painting would look beautiful in any room in ones home."
"This is the third of this series of three, painted on location. Tom did this painting of a path in Edgewood Park, which is in San Carlos. It was also done while out with the Peninsula Outdoor Painters. Another job well done and a good day's work."

Pescadero in the Morn'
"This painting is another view at the Pescadero seaside. From a changed angle in variations of degrees of light, Pescadero appears like an entirely different place altogether. This is another of it's breathtaking views and brilliance of color. Makes for a background you're unlikely to forget.
"This painting was done on location during the Indian Summer that we get
here in Northern California. It shows warm Autumn day on the coast about 40 miles South of San Francisco. I am really satisfied with the results that I was able to achieve. I was able to get away from painting the scene as it really is, and painted it to look like I wanted it too for a more painterly result. This painting sold before the paint even dried. One of the other artists that I was painting with that day bought it."
