"Tom did this painting in the middle of Cigar's historic win streak.  It shows him winning the 1995 Breeder's Cup Classic.  The right image shows Jerry Bailey holding up his finger indicating that Cigar is number one. We aren't likely to see this quality of Champion in a long time to come."

"Tom did this painting right after Silver Charm won the 1997 Preakness.  He's one of the most consistent, hard knocking horses still in training. There were few that figured he'd be defeated in the 1997 Belmont, but he sure gave it a good try. The Triple Crown being the most prestigious as well as most difficult of accomplishments to capture in all of U.S. Thoroughbred racing today."
