All of the art on this page was done outdoors on location. Which means in order for an artist to
capture a moment, the painting has to be done in a rather short amount of time so as to maintain
the continuity, and keep the light, and shadows the same as when he/she begins the piece.

"Available in a series of inspirational greeting cards Tom has done, along with poetry by Toms wife Katherine within each card. This original oil is a beautiful, but almost a lonely looking piece on it's canvas. However it also makes one feel very warm and close with the elements. Or it has had this particular affect on me. Tom has shown the movement the wind might have made on this tree, as it would likely show in real life to a tree such as this.

"This very bright and near perfect arch in the sky forms a rainbow. One of God's miracles. The scenic background could be in the Montana area, which is Toms home state. Cutbank, Montana is to be precise. Although this picturesque scene might be seen in parts of Utah. Tom has made good use of light and shadow, and the beauty in the clearing sky from it's recent rains makes for a beautiful image. One of the inspiration card series."

"This is where Tom Painted the other two seaside paintings. Liking this particular spot
and finding the calm and peaceful scene also ideal for painting. Tom decided to do a view of
the house that sits on the seashore. I sit and look at this painting and can easily imagine myself standing up on the balcony leaning over and listening to the waves as they break against the cliff walls. A very cozy atmosphere.
